By plane
Ryanair flies from
East Midlands, Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin. Thompson fly from Coventry. Maria Alm is an easy
one hour drive from the airport along main roads. Hertz, Avis, Eurocar have desks at Salzburg airport.

By train
Trains call at Saalfelden. (approx. 5 kms from the apartment). Taxis are available to take you to the apartment.
By car
From Saalfelden follow road signs for Maria Alm and take exit Almdorf. From here you follow the signs for 'Zum Kupfernen Fuchs'.
Please note. Our house is located beautifully halfway up the Hinterreit mountain; a 15-minute walk to the village itself. A car is not necessary, but comes in handy if you are planning to make many day trips to other sights and cities in the vicinity or plan on cross-country skiing in the area.
Also note. For skiers a free-of-charge ski bus runs from mid December until the beginning of April from Hinterreit (at the bottom of the mountain slope on which our house is located) to other lifts in the area, such as Natrun in the village, but also the lifts at Aberg and Hochkönigs Winter Kingdom (for the latter you may need to switch buses).
